Broome Team Covenant

Background and Foundation

Our agency is founded on the Christian principles of honesty, integrity, respect and caring for others. We recognize that God is a covenant-making God and that He sees His people as covenant people. For example, He spoke to His people, Israel…

If you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine.
(Exodus 19:5)

Since God relates to His people in covenant relationship, we desire to enter into a covenant with each other under Him. We recognize and value the fact that relationships formed from covenant principals differ from those resulting by contract.

A contract is a legal and binding agreement between two or more people. A contract is bound by law and protects my rights and meets my expectations. It is founded upon the strength of my rights and is fulfilled by observing what is legal.

A covenant is a promise of commitment between two or more people. A covenant is bound by honor and loyalty to one another. In a covenant relationship, all my actions and attitudes are determined by what is best for my clients and teammates.

This Is Our Covenant With You And With One Another:

We will choose to live under authority: We will respect the authority we are under and walk in confidence due to the covering it provides.
(Hebrews 13: 17)

We will work to build a culture of honor among us: Honor necessitates that we value the role of everyone on our team and that we remain loyal to each one through our attitudes and our actions.
(1 Samuel 2:30) • (Romans 12:10)

We will be role-players: We will be unafraid to take the lowest place or the highest place in order to accomplish our goals.
(II Cor. 10:12-13) • (Luke 16:10-12)

We will overcome offense quickly: We will choose to move toward others to resolve conflict. We will not allow resentment to tarnish our team or our service to our clients.
(Hebrews 12:15)

We will never stop growing: We will dedicate ourselves to live with excellence every day, embracing change and new knowledge.
(2 Peter 3:18)

We will persevere: We will diligently turn toward optimism and creative solutions.
(James 1:2-4)

We will be whole-hearted: We will keep our mission in the forefront of every decision we make and every interaction we have.
(2 Chronicles 31:21)

We will look forward to our rewards: We will trust the promise of fair rewards which draw us into our great future.
(1 Corinthians 9:24)

We will complete our assignments and own our client’s needs: We will embrace personal responsibility for the success of the team and accept the challenge of this covenant.
(Philippians 2:3-4)
